Terry's Tips

This story was created to help children think and talk about feelings and relationships. The story depicts a typical sibling conflict, making the characters' feelings explicit, and modeling perspective taking, friendship, problem solving, persistence, and self reflection. I will offer three kinds of tips:

1. Ideas for reading the story with children to elicit their own experiences and feelings.

2. Authoring help with text, illustrations, and audio;

 3. Background building readings and research on children's social development.
