Google docs is a very easy, user friendly web tool which can assist with many different goals in the classroom. One of the major advantages of Google Docs is the ability to collaborate with classmates and peers. You can see eachother's contributions, edits, and help eachother with whatever the activity or assignment requires.

Google Docs can be a central hub for ideas, findings, links to other works, and much more! If I find a link that I want to share with my group for a project, I can just add the hyperlink to Google Docs for everyone to see. We can add, edit, and revise eachother's work as we continue, allowing for many voices and ideas to literally work together on one page. It allows a safe space for all students.

The subtle hidden beauty of Google Docs is that it automatically saves. So you don't have to worry about your laptop crashing anymore, because with Google Docs, your work will auto save and be readily available to you on a host of various devices.
