Popplet is an app that can be found in the Apple Store, however, it can also be used online.
Popplet is used to help create virtual mind maps, using words, images and videos that can be found on Youtube into topics. It can be used in an education setting to share different mind maps with classmates.
It may help students that have trouble organizing their thoughts into specific ideas or topics or students that have trouble with higher level vocabulary. The feature that I like the most is the 'add image' feature where you can connect an image to the main topic and not just words.
For the safetly of younger children, however, the terms of services does not encourage children under the age of 13 to use the app.
