iMovie is an app that allows you to make videos. You can add text to these videos and add the pictures and videos that you have on your iPad already.
Students could use this app when they are doing book reports or presenting to their class. iMovie could be a great alternative to the expected PowerPoint presentation or simple written book report.
In the case where the students are required to do a book report, a student who is a visual learner would be able to use iMovie to do the book report more effectively. This would help them learn better and allow them to learn in the best way that they can.
There does not seem to be an age restriction for using iMovie.
