working memory

Scientists believe that working memory always as to temporarily manipulate information as we try to work through a problem.  We only have so much working memory capacity, and if we overload this system then all the information we are trying to hold in working memory gets lost.  Fortunately, we can use scaffolds to help store some information externally (i.e. lists, friends, outlines) so we don't overload or working memory system.

If you try to juggle too much information at once, you're going to lose it all. Help your working memory out by using the tips included in the project.
