An equation is a statement that shows two things are equal.

An equation has numbers, an equals sign, and sometimes letters.

WIllis applied an equation to find out how temperature and humidity work together. 

Humidity is the amount of water in the air.

In the summer, when there is a lot of water in the air, the humidity is high. Usually, the outisde will feel sticky.

Refreshing is a term used to describe how something feels. 

 For example, when a person goes from a hot room to a cool room, that is refreshing.
