An air conditioner (AC) is an appliance or machine used to modify air temperature, generally cooling it down. It was invented by Willis Haviland Carrier around 1902. 

It is used for inside spaces such as buildings and cars

Comfortable (adj.) is a feeling of being relaxed.

Controlled (adj.) is something that is managed or kept within certain limits. 

An engineer (n) is a person who designs and makes machines, structures and products. They have special special training for this job. They usually have training from a university.

An equation (n) is a math statement or sentence that has an equal sign, to show that two things are equal. 

A factory (n) is a building or a group of buildings where goods or items are made or created.

Humidity (n) is the amount of moisture or water vapor in the air. It is used to tell us how wet the air is around us.

An inventor (n) is someone who is the first to think of or make something. The things they make are called inventions. 

Refreshing (adj.) is used to describe something that is pleasantly new and different. 

ex. The air-conditioner was refreshing because it made the hot room much colder.

Temperature (n) is a level of hotness or coldness that can be measured using a thermometer. Temperature is used to tell how hot or cold something is. 

A theatre (n) is a building where plays, musicals, or movies can be shown. It has seats for people to come and watch the preformances. 

A university (n.)is a place where people can learn after they finish high school. It is used for teaching, learning and studying.
