A fossil is an imprint or bones of a plant or an animal that lived long ago.

Animals that eat only plants are called herbivores. Deer, grasshoppers and rabbits are all herbivores.

Crocodiles, snakes, lizards and turtles are all reptiles. Most reptiles live on land, and most lay eggs.  They are vertebrates, and, unlike any other animals, are covered with scales.  They are cold-blooded and regulate theri boyd temperature by seeking or avoiding the sun's heart.
