When We Go To Recess
When we go to recess it is very fun. But before we do that, we have to eat our lunch. After we eat our apples, and our PB and J, it is time to go out and play! We must wait until everyone is done, before we go out and have our fun. Once we get finished with our lunch, it is finally go out and play!
Once we our done with lunch, Miss Johnson makes sure we are all here. We go back to our classroom, it's recess time, and there's a big cheer. We must be quiet and calm for Miss Johnson, so that we can go out. Everyone is being very good and polite, so we get to go out and see the sunlight!
When we go to recess, we have a great time. Suzy, Elaine, Jenny, and Martha go onto to the swings. They talk about what they are going to buy at the mall after school with their moms. Johnny, Jimmy, and Jake go hang on the monkey bars, and talk about baseball. They must be careful, because they could get hurt if they are swinging too high or jumping too high.
Michael, Jack, and Tyler start to play kicball. They make sure they are kind enough to ask everyone in class if they want to play. It is even more fun, because we let everyone play! We kick the ball and play the field. Everyone is having a fun time, but recess is almost over.
Miss Johnson blows the whitsle, and it's time to go inside. The game ends with one team winning, nine to five. We don't care about the score, because we all have fun. Now it is time to go in, and learn until the school day is done.
When we get back in our class, Miss Johnson tells us what a nice job we did outside. We talk about our kickball game, the swings and the monkey bars. Now it is time to talk about math. But, we still can't wait for tomorrow, when we get to go to recess.
