Prologue

For 1000s of years, humans and Vampires have lived in harmony. The vampires would live throughout the night and the humans would live through the morning. These Vampires are not your average Vampires, not like the vampires that you would read about in your fiction books. They do not eat Human blood, just animal blood and for 1000s of years, the humans were fine with this, until a group of humans turned against the vampires and formed a larger faction, known as, The Vampire Genocide Project. It all changed when this happened, because when this happened, they started killing these Vampires through the next years until the vampires learned a new talent. No longer needing blood at all. The became Spirit Vampires. Only needing the spirits of the already dead. Which gave them the true strength to fight back and bring peace back to the world. A small group of these new Spirit Vampires started to rebel against this force and this war would change the landscape of the entire world. The leader of this newly formed rebellion, Marcus Landraus II, with his greatest ally, Vincent Landraus, his brother would lead this world into a new beginning and would change the world forever. And this change would begin in London, England, where the vampires were first discovered my humans. Spirit Vampires versus human kind. Can peace be brought back? Will this only escalate? We shall see.

Chapter 1: The Start of the Problem.

"My lord. My lord." A man runs into the office of Lord Ivan, a human. "Yes, young man. What is it?" He responds to the man that rushed into his office. The young man tries to catch his breath for a moment and responds to him, "A vampires. They are not going have animal blood anymore. A human has been killed. 2 holes have been punctured into his neck." Lord Ivan stands and slams his hand on the desk in front of him and looks with concern on his face trying to wrap his head around this, "Are you a hundred percent certain on this-" He is interrupted by the man, "Yes, my lord. It has to be." Ivan walks over and grabs his long coat and wraps it around himself as he and the young man walks out of his office, as they walk down the hall, Lord Ivan asks him, "What is your name, my friend?" The young man looks in shock trying to figure out why he Lord Ivan, a distinguished man, would want to know his name. They continue walking down the hallway as the young man looks towards him and responds, "Matthew, my lord." Ivan looks over at Matthew and they exit the house as Lord Ivan nods towards him. The scene is changed to the scene of the crime where the human lays, dead, blood everywhere, two punctured marks in his neck. Moments pass as the citizens of London look on just as Lord Ivan and Matthew arrive on the scene. They walk over to the body of the victim, Lord Ivan kneels down and turns the victim's head over to see the marks. "This is without a doubt, the death mark of a vampire. It seems they have found the hunger for human blood and I knew it was only a matter of time. Matthew, my friend, gather the town at the central, we must inform everyone of what has happened." Lord Ivan asks Matthew as he holds his chin, trying to figure all of this out.

"I will take care of this mess, everyone, please head to the town central. I will be there shortly to discuss this. Thank you." Lord Ivan states to the crowd that were still around looking on in shock. He turns around and kneels down looks at the poor soul, he slaps the victim gently on the cheek and whispers to him, "Don't worry, you will be avenged, young man. This town will not have to pay for your death. I promise." Moments pass as the scene is shown of the town central filled with the citizens of the town being gathered. Matthew standing at the front of the crowd looking on in disbelief of what has happened. A second later and Lord Ivan arrives, he comes up to where Matthew is standing and looks at the town central and it's citizens and says with heart, "Today is a horrific day. A day like no other. No matter what we have seen in the past, we never thought we would see this. A young man was killed just an hour ago and yes, death has always happened, but we have discovered that two holes are in his neck. The showing of a vampire." The crowd looks in disbelief of what is being said and in shock. "I know what you are thinking, we have lived in harmony and peace with them for hundreds of years with no sign of action, but now this? This cannot be taken without any action of our own. We have to do something." Lord Ivan continues as he looks on at the town central. "Are we sure that it was a vampire to do such an act, my lord?" A man in the crowd asks Lord Ivan.

"I mean, we have lived at peace and harmony for hundreds of years. Why now? It doesn't make sense. Right?" He continues his questions towards Lord Ivan. "Yeah! He has a point." A young woman agrees with the other man in the crowd. "Yes, Lord Ivan. What evidence do you have against my kind?" A man walks up asking Lord Ivan, "Your kind? Are you-" Ivan is interrupted by the man again, "Yes, my lord. I am a vampire. Yeah, I usually would never come out at this point, but when I heard the rumors, I could not stand by and let the travesty continue onward anymore." Lord Ivan looks on as a couple of people within the crowd grab the vampire, "What is your name, vampire?!" The vampire looks on with a smile on his face, "Marcus Landraus the second. And how dare you accuse us of killing a human, we cannot even go near human blood without getting sick. What would we gain from this? Hm! Answer me!" One of the people in the crowd smacks Marcus in the face and says to him, "How dare you speak to Lord Ivan like that, you trash. How do we know that you didn't kill that man?" Marcus turns his head and looks at her and chuckles at her, "Because, I just told you that we cannot go near human blood. We are not what you write in your silly books. Your lies have been spread for hundreds of years, you are no better than those that want war and death. And you call my kind murderers."

Marcus breaks free of one of the people holding onto him, smacks the other, and runs off through the crowd as the crowd acts out trying to attack him. "From this point on, every man, woman, and child will be at war with the Vampires. We will hunt every last one of them down, no matter where they are, no matter who they are, we will kill every last one of them. From here around, this is the Vampire Genocide Project!" Lord Ivan shouts out as every person in the crowd raises their hands in agreement, Matthew looks at him, "And you, Young Matthew, will be there with me every step of the way. Young man and women that spoke up and stood against them when Marcus came in, give me your names." Lord Ivan speaks out to these people as they respond, "Edward Louis", one of the young men speaks out as another speaks up, "Trevor Helmont", they continue to speak up, "Sandra Benedict", Lord Ivan looks on with a astouding appreciation towards these men and women. "The vampires will rue the day that they ever crossed the humans. Starting this day, we will avenge the death of that poor man, that poor soul, and any other that they decide to go after or have killed. They are no better than the wolves that hunt. We will have justice for this act of injustice. They will pay!" The crowd starts acting wild and crazy and shouting, "Lord Ivan! Lord Ivan!" over and over again in honor of his creed towards the vampires.

Chapter 2: In Hiding we Go!

Marcus comes rushing into the Vampire's temple after barely escaping the humans and their plot to take out the vampires once and for all for the supposed crime of murdering that human. "We have to go." Marcus says with angst hoping that they will just listen and not need anything explained. "Marcus, calm down. Calm down, you look like you are being chased or something, explain what is going on." A young vampire walks over and places his hand on Marcus's shoulder. "No time. Humans. They are coming to kill us. Now, go! I'll explain on the way." Marcus stands back up and runs towards the back of the temple to find his wife, Victoria Landraus. Marcus busts through the door and sees Victoria and his brother, Vincent Landraus, talking. "Brother, are you okay?" Vincent looks on in shock as he stands and walks over to Marcus. "No, I am not and neither are any of us. We have got to get out of here and go into hiding. A human was killed and the humans have decided to hunt all of us down and kill us." Marcus replies explaining the situation while trying to gather what he can. A thump is heard in the other room and voices are heard directly afterwards. "You vampires seem to be nothing, but liars and murderers. Gets sick around human blood, what a farce, right, Edward?" The brothers Edward and Richard are heard talking to each other in the temple quarters looking at the vampires around them. "Got that right, Richard. I say we just put in end to it right here and now." Edward replies to his brother as he breaks off a piece of the chair, "Ya know? I heard that if you shove a piece a wood into their hearts, they will die and vanish away. Turning into wood chippings. Let's find out." Edward continues as he shoves the broken chair piece into a vampire. The vampire grabs onto the wood shoved into him and falls to the ground turning into dust.

"Well, what do you know, brother? It's true." Richard smirks as he yells at his brother. Edward looks on smirking and chuckling as the vampires in the temple all get up and start running to the doors, trying to escape. During the madness, Vincent, Marcus, and Victoria try to sneak through the destruction, vampire being killed broken chairs, bottles, dusted vampires, they make it out of the side door. Vincent and Victoria keep running as Marcus looks on through the door at the carnage trying to figure out why anyone would do this, Vincent comes back over and grabs Marcus by the arm and they all start running through the town. "In here!" A young vampire says to the Landraus. They run and head to where the young vampire was pointing towards. They make their way down into a tunnel of sorts, the young vampire shuts the hole. "We should keep going, it's madness out here. Go! I will keep an eye on anyone else that I can get down here with us. The name's Michael, you can repay me later." Michael says to the Landraus telling them to head down the tunnel. Michael opens the slot a bit and sees flames on buildings, dusted vampires, broken wagons, and so much more. It's like a horror show out there. Marcus, Vincent, and Victoria continue running until they come to a hole, they hop down and head into the sewer system. A light is shown in the distance, so they walk towards it. They arrive at the light to find some of the vampires in hiding with a campfire of sorts to keep the light up.

2 months have passed since the carnage and the Vampire Genocide Project had begun. Quite a few of the vampires have been slain at the hands of the humans and the survivors? Well, they are in hiding. All over the world, the VGP has taken hold, different divisions taking over, slaughtering so many. Many vampires have even died from hunger, because of hiding for so long without Animal blood, the body starts to die out, they cannot handle the suffering anymore. Some just outright end their own lives, some go out to the humans to fight back out of hunger. It never ends well, but the ones who do fight back. They have the right idea. They know what we must do. Out of hunger or not, we must become a fighting force. We must rebel against the humans, whom have betrayed us. Marcus wakes up after dreaming his talk, wipes his eyes and looks around the campfire of his family and the other vampires in hiding and whispers, "I promise, my brothers and sisters, we will find a way." He stands, trying to not wake anyone, and heads down the sewers, to check out what is down there, just anything and everything that he can learn. Ten minutes or so pass as he trips over something, "Ooph." He says after his trip as he looks back and sees a dead body on the ground. Not knowing that it is dead, he touches the neck to see if the body had a pulse, nothing. Marcus's hand starts to glow with a red stream flowing towards his body, he tries to back up to see what happened and falls on his butt to see the body is turned to dust.

Chapter 3: A New Power?

The Red stream of light leading into Marcus's hand stops as Marcus is knocked down to the ground, seconds later, the walls around him within the sewer start to crumble as bodies fall from the cracked walls, Marcus's family and the vampires that were hiding in the sewers come out and red streams of light are shown leading into each of the vampires that surrounded the area. Marcus stands to his feet as he looks on at what is going on, while he does, he sees a rock is about to fall on his brother, he places his hand in the air and screams, "Brother!" The rock is thrown and hits the wall next to his brother, afterwards, Marcus looks at his hand as the other vampires surrounding the area look on in shock at him, trying to figure out what just happened. Marcus sort of smiles as he looks back up at his brother and his wife and says, "If we can control this, we can fight back." His brother nods towards Marcus as a kid comes down into the sewers, he sees the vampires and screams, "Vampires! I found them!" The vampires start running, trying to manage to get out of sight of the kid and to make sure that they are no longer spotted. They make it to a manhole, a woman pushes the manhole open with her new found power and they force their way out of the sewers. Lord Ivan cuts them off just as they escape and goes to attack Marcus with his sword in hand, but Marcus pushes him down to the ground with this power, they all scatter making it through the town. The scene cuts to the mountainside and showing of the city with building set a blaze and destruction everywhere.

Eight Months Later, The vampires have found a new home, outside of the realm of humans, outside of their knowledge, in the forest. The numbers have grown to the hundreds, tents have been set up, houses are being built, vampires everywhere testing their new ability, practicing. The scene cuts and shows Lord Ivan's Mansion surrounded by guards, humans looking in droves trying to find any vampire that they can. His new assistant cracking his whip towards the young vampires as he smirks with every crack of the whip. Times have changed in the eight months that have passed. Peaceful at times, bloodshed still happens on rare occasions, but with the vampires in their new location and the humans unaware of where they have went, things can finally go back to a normal peaceful life. A young vampire on watch a bit down through the forest notices something down the path, activating one of his new abilites, known as Vampire's Eye, he sees three hunters packed with Bows, arrows, and a horrible grin on their faces, as if they already knew where the vampires had been hiding. The young vampire uses a second of his abilities, known as, Speed Call, he rushes back to the camp to warn Marcus and the others, but when he forces his way to the camp, he gets knocked down, a human looks down at the young vampire as he stabs him through the heart with a crafted dagger. "This is just the start, Marcus. Just the start. This dagger is for you." The human smirks as his team comes up to him laughing.

"This does not make any sense. The youngling should have been back to make his report already." Marcus says with a look of worry on his face, one of his newly body guards looks over at him and nods, "Understood." As if the body guard already knew what Marcus was going to say, he leaves through the tent, he nods at a couple of vampires outside the tent and they speed off in search of the youngling. A few moments pass as they reach the dead youngling's ashes on the ground, a scream is heard back at the base. "No. This was a trap. We must go! Now!" They start to head back, but when they start to head back, Marcus and around thirty or so vampires with him arrive along with his family, "Don't go, we must get out of here and set up a new perimeter." They start to go, the camp set ablaze, as they start to make it out of the forest, the humans arrive before them on horses, the humans go for the attack hoping that they can finish them off once and for all. "You did this, Marcus! You will pay for the judgement that you deserve!" One of them yells at Marcus attempting to intimidate him. He gets off his horse and goes directly for the attack, Marcus hip tosses him over and onto the ground, grabs the knife and stabs the human through. "You dare cast judgement on us?! You dare say that we are to blame?! We were set up and all you can do is have a unfair trial with us automatically the murderers. How dare you!" Marcus yells at the humans in a blood rage mood. The humans all get down off their horses and try to avenge their fallen brother, using their new skills, the vampires overwhelm them with their speed and one of them bites a human draining his energy. Another speeds towards a human and clotheslines him, sword in hand drops to the ground, the vampire grabs thus sword and pierces the human through the head.

A bloody mess is left with humans massacred in front of the Marcus, "They brought this upon themselves and if this is what they want. This is what they will get. No more will we hide. No more will we let them stop us from having a home. Pass judgement all they want, but we will show them the truth. They may have set us up, they may have destroyed the treaty, they may have slaughtered our brothers and sisters, but we will avenge them. They will suffer our wrath. The wrath of a Vampire! We are going to war with the humans and they will all pay for their crimes!" Marcus says to his family and the others in such bold words in a such a bold way. Soon after, more and more vampires from the encampment arrive where Marcus and the others were at. "Marcus is right. We cannot let them continue this. They will pay, we will have our freedom. To War!" A vampire says, along with the other vampires continue to say, "To War! To War!" Marcus looks over through the wooded area using his newly found sight ability looking at the town and thinks to himself, "They will all pay." Back in town, Lord Ivan feels his skin crawl and smirks with a small grin and a smile on his face. "Then, it shall be. To war, Marcus. To war, we shall end this. Judgement will be cast upon thee." Lord Ivan stands and says whisperly to himself. A scene is shown a few weeks later, with the vampires in the forest rebuilding their encampment and training for the war, a secondary scene is shown with Lord Ivan and his coherts passing out weapons to his townsfolk while the others around are practicing spearmanship and swordsmanship. The war draws near between the humans and the vampires. Who will win this war? Will peace ever truly return? What really happened on that fateful night? Questions unanswered. Questions that will be answered. The time is upon the two great factions. Will the Vampire Genocide truly happen?
