attribute- a piece of information that determines the properties of a field or tag in a database or a string of characters in a display.

container tags- tags that you place on your site to trigger not one, but many other 

document type declration-A document type declaration, or DOCTYPE, is an instruction that associates a particular SGML or XML document.

empty tags-An empty element is an element from HTML, SVG, or MathML that cannot have any child nodes.

html-Hypertext Markup Language, a standardized system for tagging text files to achieve font, color, graphic, and hyperlink effects on World Wide Web pages.

hypertext-a software system that links topics on the screen to related information and graphics, which are typically accessed by a point-and-click method.

ordered list-Use the HTML <ol> element to define an ordered list. Use the HTML type attribute to define the numbering type.

source code-a text listing of commands to be compiled or assembled into an executable computer program.

tags- a label attached to someone or something for the purpose of identification or to give other information.

unordered list-Use the HTML <ul> element to define an unordered list. Use the HTML style attribute to define the bullet style. 

value-estimate the monetary worth of (something).
