Introduction

Once upon a time there was a  pheasant which is me and a wolf.  I was a little dainty lady.  Wolf was the exact opposite.  He was big, sloppy and really very hairy.

Phesant noticed the drain was unpluged.

Event 1

One day, I was walking out in the woods.  Wolf was walking around looking for something to eat.  We were very close to each other.  I smelled wolf's scent and took off.  Wolf was fast though and caught up.  Hey pheasant, hollered Wolf.  All the water is falling off the world!  I don't think so.  The lake by the farmer's house has all of its water in it.  Ah, Ah, I'll be right back.  Wolf ran really fast then came back.  Come with me, Wolf said to me.  So I did.  But I always knew Wolf was up to mischeif.  Oh my, I squealed.  You're right!  But I realized the drain was unplugged.  Do you want to get a drink from my stewpot?  Well,  I don't know.  But if it is the only

place to get water, then why not?  I jumped on the edge of the gargantuan pot.  Just as I dipped my head into the pot, Wolf pushed me in!  Sure enough I got out.  I ran away and decided never to believe Wolf again.

tip-toe tip-toe... ROAR!

Event 2

Hmmm, I said to myself, I bet I could get Wolf back.  I walked to Wolf's den and yelled, oh Wolf!  We need to talk!  Oh what do you want pheasant?  You know how nice I am,  maybe you could try eating something else like a chicken from the farmer's house.  Well, well I never thought about that.  OK.  I will.  Wolf and I walked together to the farmer's house.  Wolf pounced over the fence and leaped on a weak chicken.  He never knew a chicken could be so loud.  I ran.  The farmer looked really mad with a stick in his hand.  He walked over to the chicken pen and charged at Wolf.  Then I jumped out of the bushes and I was laughing hard.  Thanks a lot,  cried Wolf.

So much for the terrible mystery place. Oww! That burns.

Event 3

It was getting to be winter.  It was cold.  The only place that was warm is a mystery place in the farmer's house.   One day the farmer invited Wolf and I to his house.  Farmer was cooking something in the mystery place.  Mr. Farmer could not reach the thing in the mystery place.  Could you get my food for me?  We both leaped into the mystery place.

The farmer slammed the OVEN shut.  No one ever saw us again, but I heard Wolf was living in Florida!
