Willis Haviland Carrier was known as the "king of cool" and helped create the air-conditioner. In 1911, he made an equation  to undersatnd how temperature and humidity  work together.

He invented ways to control temperature and humidity. Later on, Willis Haviland started his own business making air conditioners.

People thought air conditioners made rooms more comfortable and refreshing ! Today, many homes, schools, and cars use air-conditioning.
