Back in 1803 Preident John Adams was defeated by Thomas Jefferson. But Mr. Adams had a plan. He elected William Marbury to be a Justice of Peace in the District of Columbia. Thomas Jefferson was very angry when he found out about this, so he asked James Madison to not deliver the commisions. Later on the courts unanimously wrote their opinion that would refuse Marbury's request. This later formed the Judicial Review.

The McCulloch V Maryland. This started off in 1816, when the second bank opened up. Maryland Legislators had placed a tax on all notes issued by any bank thats not charted by Maryland law. Well, a man named James McCulloch also issued notes on which the tax, which was not even paid for yet. But the U.S. Court denied Marylands decision to uphold the state power to tax. With all of this happening, the court unanimously reversed Maryland's courts.

Every Cop show has this. The Miranda Right. Back in 1963 Ernesto Miranda was arrested for kidnapping and rape. Well, like every cop themed show, the attorney shows up. Miranda's attorney had went to the court saying that his client wwas never given his full rights of keeping silent. This made the courts think of telling the Miranda Rights.

The Plessy V Ferguson. This is all about the rulings of the Jim Crow laws. This was everyone is seperate but equal. Well, this began as a colored man named Homor Plessy who was arrested for sitting in a white man's seat. Well he went to court about this, and all the court did was just make the Seperate but Equal act constitutional and it was just placed in any facility.

The Brown V Bored of Education, is about Linda Brown. She was an average 3rd grader had to walk a mile to school across dangerous railroads and then had to ride a bus to get to school. Her father was not happy about this because she was living close to another school. Her dad took up to the NAACP and the Supreme Court to talk about this. The Supreme Court over turned the Seperate but Equal act and replaces it with all classrooms shall be desgregated.
