When I Arrive at School

By Ekaterina Jorgensen

I say goodbye to my Mother and walk inside the double doors. Sometimes someone I know is walking beside me. I like to hold the door open for them.

I go directly to my locker to put my things away.

I say, 'Hello' or 'Good Morning' to my friends and some say the same thing to me.

First, I put my soccer ball in the basket on the bottom of my locker. Then, I hang my back pack and coat on the hook.

I bring my water bottle into the classroom and check my visual schedule on the wall.

Today is the day I choose my own work, take it to a table and begin my work cycle at 8:15 am. I can look at the big clock on the wall to see the time.

For my next work choice, I will ask if a friend if they would like to do some math facts with me. It is fun to do work with friends.
