The Three Tradesmen

A city was attacked, and the people that lived there got
together to decide what the best way to protect the city
from the enemies would be.

A bricklayer happily recommended bricks and
explained that they would be the best material
to build a strong border.

A carpenter, who was just as happy, thought
that timber would be a better way to build a
border.

Finally, a currier stood up and said, "Excuse
me Mr. Bricklayer and Mr. Carpenter, but I
disagree with you both. There is no better way
to make a border than using the skin of
animals. So, leather would be the strongest
option."

Every man for himself.
