What To Do On My Field Trip

I am going on a field trip…what should I do? I have a ton of information to remember in order to make the day go well…

I need to remember rules for both the bus and for when I am at our destination!

While I’m on the bus, I may want to talk to all of my friends. I can talk to my friends that are sitting next to me in a normal volume.

Yelling or screaming across the bus can distract the driver, stop my friends from understanding what others are saying, and even hurt other’s ears. I will try to talk, not yell, to my friends.

I might want to get up to go talk to a friend that is not sitting next to me.

It is very important for my, and everyone else’s, safety that I stay in my seat until I am told I can get up.

When we get to our destination, I may get so excited I forget to pay attention. But my teachers and parents are happy when I pay attention, so I can know and follow the rules.

While on my field trip, I will meet new adults and kids. This can be scary sometimes…

…But my teacher knows I will be brave and make a new friend!

I will be having all sorts of fun on my field trip with my friends!

But I will need to remember to use the restroom every so often to avoid accidents. I will do my best to alert the adult in charge that I need to go to the bathroom.

My teacher, chaperones, parents, and friends are all very happy when I follow all the rules because it allows us to have the most fun possible!
