The Sneaky Caracara

The Sneaky Caracara 

There once lived a caracara that flew around Mexico City. Ms. Caracara loved to fly around the city stealing the villagers’ silver jewels. She would sneak into the town right before dawn and quickly snatch  the jewels. 

The villagers would wake up and cry because their silver jewels were missing. The villagers decided to call out to King Ocelot for help. 

One day, right before dawn, King Ocelotconfronted Ms. Caracara. He asked her why she liked to steal all of the jewels. Ms. Caracara started to cry and explain how the jewels made her feel pretty. 

King Ocelot explained to Ms. Caracara that jewels are not what makes someone pretty but the way you act towards others. Ms. Caracara decided to return all the jewels and apologize  to the villagers. 

The villagers were so thankful that they invited Ms. Caracara to their next silver jewelry making class.
