The Science Fair

One day in school the teacher announced the Science Fair was approaching and that everyone could pick a partner to work with.
The children were so excited especially Aidan and Lydia who decided to be partners. So that day after school they rode their roller skates back to Lydia’s house to try and figure out what science project they should do.
Their first idea was to show the growth of a plant. They pictured their plant growing to be so big and beautiful. So they planted some seeds in the dirt and then they would have to wait for it to grow.
Sadly their plant didn’t grow as big and beautiful as fast as they had thought. So they thought they should come up with a new idea for the science fair.
Aidan suggested they build a model volcano. Lydia thought that would be a great idea so they did. They made a big volcano and then they researched how to make it explode.
As Lydia and Aidan walked into the Science Fair they were so proud of the model explosive volcano they had created together and couldn’t wait for everyone to see.
Everyone loved Aidan and Lydia’s model volcano. Their teacher was so proud of how much they learned from their project and all they knew about volcanos.
So much so Aidan and Lydia won the Science Fair and each got a big gold star. They both left the Science Fair that year with so much knowledge and a huge smile.
