Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 in Kentucky. He was married in the year 1842. His wifes name is Mary Todd. Lincolns son's names where William (nick name is Wille),Robert, and Tad. Abraham Lincoln was our 16 president of the U.S.A. The Nourth won the Civil War (nourth and south fighting). Also President Lincoln gave a speech in Gettysburg. Poor President Lincoln was shot in the theater. Then the next morning President Lincoln was dead. Born on Febuary 12, 1809. Died on April 15,1865.



Abraham Lincoln was honest and a kind good man.He became our 16th president because lots of people liked him.He treated people fairly and he also let all slaves to be free and not people to be used as slaves.Abraham Lincoln had a nickname he was called honest Abe.How did he get that name?Well when he worked at this shop this lady forgot her money so he didn't want to steal it sohe gave it back to her.The last part is once Abe and his wife went to the theather and a guy from the south shot him and he died.Now people remember him and the things he did and our 16th president.


He read a lot to get smart.  He borrowed books from other people to read.He was a hard worker,his father tauhgt him how do farm work.He gave a speech called the Gettysburg Adress.It is one of his must famous speeches.Abraham Lincoln was shot at the theater.He passed away in April 15,1865.Abe wrote the Emancipation Proclamation.


*Chistion said the part did not like about the book was the part when Abraham Lincoln,s son Willam  died.

*Saiyra said she did not like the Civil War because she thinks everybody should have rights and that people shouldn't own other people.

 

* Kendall didn't like the part of the terrible Civil War because slavery was not right. All people should be free.

 

* Vanessa didn't like whenn Abraham Lincoln was shot on April 15th 1865. It was sad when people found out that Abraham Lincoln didn't survive. People were devastated. It was a sad time for many people, but it was a very very sad time for his wife.
