What is precipitation?
Rain is the most common type of precipitation. It is the moisture that is formed into tiny droplets from condensation . Raindrops are created when droplets in the become too heavy to stay in the cloud.
Snow are ice crystals that stick together when they fall to the ground. When there is sleet, and the temperature drops, it creates snow.
Hail is a large frozen raindrop. They are created from the thunderstorms from those clouds where snow and rain coexist . As the snowflakes fall from the clouds, water freezes onto them which create the ice pellets that fall.
Sleet is essentially a frozen raindrop. These raindrops are created under more special atmospheric conditions. They are visible drops and they make the ground slippery.
Precipitation is any product of condensation or of atmosphere -like water vapor that falls on earth. The main forms of precipitation include rain, snow sleet and hail.
