The Missing Necklace

Haley was turning five. For her birthday her mother gave her a beautiful necklace. It was Haley's favorite gift.
Haley wore her necklace everyday. She showed it off to all her friends.
She was so proud of her new necklace that she wanted to show her whole class during show and tell. When she went to remove it from her neck, the necklace was gone.
"It's gone! It's gone!" Haley exclaimed. "My necklace..." she began to cry.
Ellie sprung up from her seat in the back of the class and rushed over to her friend. “It’s okay, we will find it.” She said trying to comfort her friend.
Haley and her classmates began searching the classroom for the necklace. “Here it is!” Timothy called out triumphantly holding up the necklace.
“Thank you!” Haley called out as he handed her the necklace. “It was stuck on one of the stuffed animals.” Timothy said.
Haley wanted to thank her classmates for helping finding her necklace so she helped her mom make cupcakes. They brought them to class the next day.
