All about Bengal Tigers




Tigers are meat eaters, some even eat fish!


Tigers are white and orange with black stripes. They have sharp claws and big pointy teeth. When they are born they have blue eyes and then they change to yellow.


Baby tigers are called cubs. They weigh less then 2 pounds and are 12 inches long.  Their mother feeds them milk and at two weeks they can eat meat. Cubs leave their mother at two years old.


A tigers fur coat helps him blend into his environment. Tigers are night hunters and they attack their prey by bitting first!


The Bengal tiger lives in the rain forest. They are mostly found in Asia.


The male tiger is bigger than the female tiger. The tigers rubs against trees to mark their territory. Tigers roar so they can attract other tigers. Did you know that no two tiger stripes are alike?
