What does a tiger look like?

A tiger is a mammal with orange fur and black stripes. They have large padded feet, whiskers, long claws, a tail, and canine teeth. 



Where do tigers live?

Tigers habitats include forests, grasslands, and swamps. They live in 13 countries in Asia. All species are endangered, and some are extinct. 



Habits

Tigers are nocturnal. They use sight and hearing to search for food. They communicate with scent, body language, and sound.

Fun fact: The sound of a tiger's roar can travel 2 miles!



Diet

Tigers are predators. They hunt mainly large, hoofed animals like deer, pigs, cows, and elk. 



Conclusion

Tigers are unique animals that live in Asia. They are known for their roar and hunting capabilities. They are in danger of becoming extinct, and we need to protect them!
