When I feel angry, I can get away from the person who is making me mad.

  • •If I am home, I can go to another room.
  • If I am in school, I will go to a quiet room



•Tell the teachers, mom, dad, brother, and sister that I am angry.
•My voice can be upset but I will use nice words


When I am upset, I will ask to take a five-minute break from an upsetting job or job that I do not like to do.



When I feel angry, I will squeeze and pound the playdough or any squishy, soft thing.



I will take a deep breath and count to five. I will take a deep breath and blow it out.



When I feel angry, there are things that I can do and things that I cannot do!

I can't hit, kick, or hurt myself or others in any way.



If I remember to do some of the five things when I feel angry, I can start to feel better and not so angry.
