Volcanoes

By Kim Hopson & Janie Bohannon

A volcano is a rupture in Earth's crust that erupts with volcanic ash, hot lava, and gases that escape from Earth's surface.

There are 3 different types of volcanoes: composite, cinder cone, and sheild volcanoes.

Volcanoes can be active ,dormiant , or extinct .

Volcanoes can be dangerous to humans, but they create nutrient rich soil that can help plants grow!
