Waiting to Talk to My Teacher
The teacher has to talk to many people throughout the day. She may talk to students and other staff at school.
Sometimes I may want to talk to my teacher when she is already talking to someone else.
I will say excuse me to my teacher one time when she is talking to someone else.
My teacher will either respond to me or tell me to wait until she has finished her conversation with the other person.
If my teacher tells me to hold on. I will go back to my seat and wait patiently. While I am at my seat waiting, I can work on my assignments.
The teacher will come over to my desk when she is done talking to the other person.
The teacher walks over to my desk and says "thank you for waiting so patiently" I begin to speak to her.
Sometimes waiting to talk to my teacher is hard, but it makes her and I happy when I wait my turn!
