COLORS

The world is color bursting and bright.  

Filling the air,the day and the night.

Look at the sky, the moon and the sea.

There are colors all over for you and for me.

Let's start with blue, the color of whales,

The ocean and perhaps a brand new sail.

Yellow reminds me of the big bright sun and also new little chicks on the run.

Orange is for sweet round fruits,

but imagine  it for shoes or mom's new suit.

Brown can be for cute furry things

or birds that fly flapping their wings.

Black is the color for Halloween night,

scary bats and lots of fright.

Green is for vegetables I just don't like

 for my new pet frog I call him Mike.

Purple my favorite color of all

is for dragons , a princess and my new beach ball.

There are many other colors too many to name.

Pretty colors bring joy just the same.

Look around and see them too.

Colors can make you happy or make you blue. 

It's not the end nor will I say goodbye.

Try to see color with a special eye.

Make the time and enjoy them all,

Especially the  colors of  Fall.
