No two people are exactly alike. Everyone is unique in their own way. There are so may things that make us different from one another.

Physical Differences


 

Each one of these people are different in size, skin color, hair color, and so on . Physical differences are the easiest to notice.


Religious Differences


The three most common religions in America today are Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.

The first picture on the left is the Holy Bible and it is the religious book for Christianity

The picture in the middle is the Qur'an and it is the religious book for the people of Islam or Muslim religion

The picture on the right is the Torah, which is the religious book of Judaism or the Jewish religion


Different Ethnic Groups


There are over six billion people living in more than 100 countries in our world.

These people may do and say things that are different than what you would do and say.

Our country has over 300 million people and many of these ethnic groups now live here

 


Social Differences

Social Differences- differences in income, abilities, and interests

Income- is the amount of money that someone makes each year

 

Abilities: things that we are good at doing

 

Interests: something that you like doing

 

 

 


Differences in Income


 

 

Income allows individuals to buy things they need such as food, clothing, and a place to live.

It also is a means of buying things they want like cars, computers, televisions, and many other things we want and need.

 There are three main classes(groups) of incomes

The upper class has an income that allows for them to buy what they want and need

The middle class is able to buy what they need and is often able to buy what they want

The lower class are not always able to buy what they need and are rarely able to buy what they want.


Differences in Abilities


 

There are many different things that each one us are good at doing, these are our abilities.

Some abilities come easy or natural to us and some we have to work really hard at until we are good at the ability.

Some people are good at skateboarding, others at videogames, math, reading, and many other things that each of us are able to do well.

Everyone is good at something, sometimes it takes time to find that ability or abilities.


Differences in Interests


Interests are things that we like to do.

Everyone has his or her own interests.

Sometimes we have friends and family with the same kinds of interests.

We sometimes have friends and family with different interests.
