What Robot's Do For Us?
Robots are fun to watch in movies such as Wall-E and Star Wars, but what do they really do?.
Anthropomorphic robots, like C3PO in Star Wars, are now becoming a reality. Several companies are producing robots that can walk, talk, and think on their own to perform tasks.
More commonly you would see a robot as a useful device. An example of a robot many people do own are Roomba's. They vacum a room by traveling around the room and knowing when they are done. They also know when to empty and charge themeselves.
Robot also make factory work easier, they provide a quick and safe means to produce a good. This robot removes hot metal from a forge. This would be dangerous for factory workers.
Robot's can do a variety of tasks inclduing saving lives. The military uses them to safely detonate bombs. They do not have to put any one at risk.
Robots can do many diffrent tasks, they make our lives easier by taking away a lot of risk of dangerous tasks.
