This is Pinkmango and she just found out that she have to move across  town! "Oh no! I will have to change schools." This makes her feel upset .

Pinkmango says goodbye to all of her friends; Ben the banana, Sally the spilt pea and Tim the tangerine.  They all promise  to write letters and call each other.

Pinkmango arrives at her new school Oak Valley School.  She is nervous  and it feels like the first day of school!

Pinkmango meets her teacher Miss Celery.  Miss Celery introduces  her to the class and encourages  the students to welcome her and treat  her nicely.

Before lunch Miss Celery introduces  Pinkmango to Carla the cabbage.  Carla is really nice and Pinkmango is happy to meet someone in her class.

Carla introduces Pinkmango to her friends; Mike the mushroom and Paul the potato.  They all give Pinkmango a high five and now she knows 3 classmates in her new school! She is happy and doesn't feel as nervous anymore.

While Pinkmango and Carla the cabbage are eating their lunch Ken the kiwi comes to their lunch table.  Carla's face turns red and puts her head down.  Pinkmango is shocked to hear Ken the kiwi say "Carla, you are so round you could just roll down the hill and who likes cabbages anyway?".  Ken then faces Pinkmango and says "I don't know why you want to hang out with a cabbage".  Ken finally leaves. Carla looks upset and Pinkmango feels bad for her new friend.

Pinkmango knows that what Ken said to Carla was not only mean but it hurt her feelings too.  Carla is scared to tell Miss Celery so Pinkmango decided to tell her since it's the right thing to do.  Miss Celery listens carefully and is proud of Pinkmango for telling her what had happened.

Miss Celery talks to Ken the kiwi and Carla the cabbage.  She tells Ken how disappointed  she is of him and that he needs to be kind to everyone.  "We are all different but special in our own way" she says.  Ken apologizes to Carla and Carla accepts his apology . Miss Celery also tells Carla that if something or someone is bothering  her she needs to tell an adult.  Miss Celery also has a talk with the whole class and encourages  everyone to use kind words to their classmates.

Carla thanks Pinkmango for telling Miss Celery about Ken.  Ken doesn't bother Carla anymore. Pinkmango thanks Carla for being a friend in her new school.
