The Ups and Downs of Technology

I absolutely LOVE my MacBook Pro. Two years ago when I was told that I had to switch to a Mac from a PC, I was very reluctant. Now, however, I could not imagine my life without a MacBook. One positive experience that I have had with my Mac has been being able to make picture scrapbooks and picture slideshows through the use of programs like Iphoto and Imovie. With the help of these two programs, I have been able to capture many valuable memories of my years at Penn State, that I may not have been able to with a PC.
As much as I love my laptop, there have been a number of times where I wish I still used a desktop. On more than one occasion, when not plugged into an outlet, my battery has run low, the computer has died and I was not near an electrical outlet where I could charge the laptop. This is a huge hassle that I'd prefer NOT to deal with.
