A Day at the Aquarium

After a half hour car ride, Antonio and his mom finally arrived at the aquarium. Before they even went inside he got to see the seals! It was cold outside so they didn't stay by the seals long. Plus Antonio was anxious to go inside and see the other animals.
Once inside, the first exhibit they saw were the stingrays. One stingray came right up to the edge of the water! At first Antonio was frightened . But he soon realized they would not hurt him, and he actually touched one!
Antonio couldn't wait to see the rest of the animals at the aquarium. So they said goodbye to the stingrays, and walked over to the next exhibit .
Antonio couldn't believe his eyes! There was a huge fish tank and right in front of him was a school of fish! There were so many! He counted at least 15! They were beautiful!
Antonio couldn't believe the size of the fish tank. It was tremendous ! It was so big, it even had a coral reef! There were tons of beautiful fish everywhere!
Just as Antonio was walking away, he saw something amazing! It was a fish shaped like a star! His mom told him it was called a starfish, but it was an echinoderm . Antonio never saw one before. He thought that the aquarium was one of the coolest places he has ever been to.
Just when Antonio thought his visit to the aquarium couldn't get any better, he found the monkey exhibit! One monkey came right up to the glass. It was one of the most exciting moments of his day!
It had been a very long day, and Antonio was very tired. But right before they left he found a hidden cave! He was able to climb through and pretend he was an archaeologist !What a perfect ending to his day!
