A circle has no edges and no corners.


 

A triangle has three edges and three corners.




 

A square has four edges and four corners.  The four  sides are straight and the same length or size. 


 

A rectangle has four edges and four corners.  The four  sides are straight but are not all the same length or size. 




 

A star  is made up of small triangles. A star has five corners and ten sides.
