Lets take a trip through the planets starting with Mercury and Venus
Venus is the second closest planet to the Sun and is the hottest planet in the solarsystem. It is about the same size as earth.
Earth is the third closest planet to the sun. It's our home and is the only planet we know of that has life.
Mars's nickname is the red planet because of its color. Mars has the largest canyon in the solar system.
Jupiter has a great red spot that can fit 100 earths in it. On Jupiter you would weigh 264 pounds if you weigh 100 pounds on Earth.
Saturn is the 6th planet from the sun, and is the only planet with visable rings.
Uranus is the 7th planet from the sun. It takes 84 years to go around the sun 1 time!
Neptune is the 8th planet from the sun. It is sometimes called the water planet because of it's blue color.
