It was a beautiful day at the park. Darla and her sitter Kate were taking in the view. Darla needed to decide what she wanted to do first.

Darla chose the slide. She saw that there was no line at the slide. She's standing on the top of the slide and waving.

Kate is upset that Darla is standing on the slide. She yells up to Darla, "Sit down so you don't get hurt!"

Darla slides down on her bottom. She tells Kate, "I just wanted to wave to you from the top of the slide. I know to slide down on my pockets. Sorry if I worried you."

Kate asks Darla, "What do you want to do next?"  Darla starts to get angry and says in a very grumpy voice, "I wanted to go on the seesaw, but someone else is using it. Argh!"

Darla is upset, but thinking about what she should do. She sees the two kids playing on the seesaw. She really wants to play too. Darla decides to ask, "Can I play next?"

The two kids decide to play with Darla. The little girl says, "You can play with us. We can take turns on the seesaw and see who can make it go down and up the best." Darla says, "Thank you. That sounds like fun." Kate was surprised by how well the kids worked out a solution and included Darla in their playtime at the park.

Kate tells Darla it is time to go home. Darla wants to go on the slide one more time. She gives Kate a sad face and says, "Please can I go on the slide one more time before we leave?"

Kate decides that Darla did a great job at the park and can have one more turn on the slide. Darla yells, "Thank you Kate."
