Hi I'm Wally, I have been floating in this swimming pool all summer long. Last week I was way down under the dliving board. Swimmers shoved me this way and that as they dove into water.
This morning a penny fell out of a boy's swim trunks as he jumped into the pool. It bumped me as it dropped through the water. Whose face is one it?. I need to dive down and find out.
When I tried to drift down with it, the cold drops under me wouldn't let me float among them. I could only drift with other drops on the surface.
I couldn't go deep down in the pool any more, so I just drifted along sparkling and shimmering with the drops all around me.
As morning turned into afternoon the summer day got hotter and hotter. I was so warm that I didn't want to be near another drop of water. I began to feel loose and lightheaded.
