Penny & Penelope are eating all chips and ice cream and chips in the house.  Yum Yum Yummy Yum I love ice cream I said. Yum Yum Yummy Yum I love chips says Penny.

Mom bursts in. Girls! You ate all the ice cream? Yes mom. You ate all the chips? Yes mom.

You are going to be very unhappy if you keep eating all this food! What will happen to us mom?

Eating bad gives you tummy aches , makes you tired and makes you heavy . Girls promise me you will eat better from now on! Yes mom!

I’m so hungry said Penny. Me too I cried! What could we eat? Mom said to eat good so I think I’ll have some fruit said Penny. I don’t to eat healthy I want McDonalds I yelled!

Yum Yum Yummy Yum I love fruit said Penny. Yum Yum Yummy Yum I love McDonalds I said merrily.

Uh oh Penelope you’re going to be sorry remember what mom said. She just wants all the good food to herself nothing will happen if I eat badly.

Later that day Penny asked if I wanted to play jump rope. I said no way I’m much too tired for jump rope. So Penny played alone.

The next day Penny was running around say Yum Yum Yummy Yum I love fruit. She asked if I wanted some too. I cried no way I have too much of a tummy ache . So Penny ate healthy alone.

Penny came running home a couple days later asking if I wanted to go swimming .  I said no way I can’t go swimming I am too big I can’t fit into my swim suite anymore.

I started crying. Uh oh Penny I think mom was right. I am tired I have a belly ache and I got heavy !  Food really does affect me! I yelled.

Penny said don’t be sad we can make you feel better we just have to eat healthy and exercise !

So Penny and I sat down and ate some healthy vegetables and played jump rope together

Yum Yum Yummy Yum I love vegetables said Penny. Yum Yum Yummy Yum I love being healthy I yelled.

Penelope learned her lesson and started eating healthy and feeling better just like her mom said.
