One summer morning, Colin saw a moving truck and a car pull up next door.  He was so excited to see a little girl his age get out of the car.

He ran over to meet her.  Her name was Nanda and she just moved to Boston from India.  She told Colin about India and how hot it was.

During the warm spring days, Colin showed Nanda how to hit a baseball and plant a garden.  They also went for a ride on the swan boats in the Public Garden.

Looking back over the year, Nanda thought about all the fun she had in the different seasons.  Nanda liked riding bikes in the summer.  Nanda liked playing soccer in the fall.
