By: John Blakley

Abraham Lincoln was born in February 12, 1809 in a cabin that was one room in Kentucky

When Lincoln was nine his mother died and his father remarried.

His family needed support so he worked at a nearby farm.

Even though Lincoln didn't go to school he was a dedicated reader on many different subjects.

Eventually, Lincoln became a lawyer and desired to make a positive change.
