Trip To The Beach

Hi! My name is Payton and I want to tell you about my family's trip to Warren Dunes Beach on Lake Michigan.
It was a really windy day, so there were lots of waves. My Dad, my brothers Ben and Boston, and I swam out to where the waves were.
My mom and I built a sand castle.
I played in the water right next to the beach with my dad and brothers. My mom took this picture right before a big wave crashed over our heads.
The beach we went to was called Warren Dunes Beach. There is a big sand dune there. So can you guess what my family and I did next?
You guessed it! We climbed to the top of the dune. It was kind of hard to climb up the big sand dune. My legs were pretty tired when I got to the top. But it was a lot of fun going down the dune. You can run really fast going down and if you fall its okay because you fall into the soft sand.
