Once upon a time in a very, very nice neighborhood in the middle of the forest lived Benny Bear, Rocky Raccoon, Sally Squirrel, Ronald Rabbit, and a tiny little fox named Roxie.  One morning when all the animals awoke, they discovered that their mailboxes were missing!  All the animals were in a panic because it was Valentine's Day!  Where would Mary the mail carrier put their valentines?

The animals started to wonder who would do such a thing.

"Maybe Collin the Coyote took our mailboxes" said Benny Bear as he ate his honey.

"No, I think that maybe Rocky Raccoon did it.  He does wear a mask" said Sally Squirrel as Ronald Rabbit and Roxie nodded their heads in agreement.

The animals were just about to go and confront Rocky Raccoon when Hoppy Rabbit who works for Forest Public Works drove up in his truck.  Can you guess what was in the back of the truck....MAILBOXES!

All the animals gathered around the truck as Hoppy explained that Public Works had taken everyone's mailboxes so that they could repaint them.  Hoppy said that he had worked all night so that the mailboxes would be back for Valentine's Day.

All of Rocky's neighbors felt horrible for thinking that Rocky could do such a thing.  So, they got Rocky the biggest box of chocolate covered fish ever and promised to never judge anyone again!
