The Job of a Farmer

The farm is a busy place. A farmer has many jobs to do on the farm.
One job that a farmer has is to plant seeds that grow different foods such as vegetables and fruits. He has to make sure they get plenty of sunlight and water so that they can grow.
Farmers take care of all of the animals, too. They make sure cows have plenty of grass, hay and grain to eat so they can stay healthy. They also have to milk the cows.
A farmer also makes sure his horses have plenty of grass, grain and hay to eat so they can stay healthy.
A farmer takes care of chickens by giving them shelter and dried corn to eat. He also has to collect eggs from them each day.
A farmer also helps a pig by providing it with safety and shelter, and feeding it yummy foods such as fruits and vegetables.
A farmer has a very hard and important job to do on the farm each day. It sometimes takes him all day to get everything done.
A farmer works hard to make sure there is enough water for foods such as vegetables and fruits to grow. He also works hard to help provide safety and food for many animals who produce food for us.
