The Three Little Pigs

by Danielle Boyer

Once upon a time there was a mother pig who had three little pigs. She decided that it was time for them all to go out into the world and seek their fortunes.

The first little pig had not gone far when he met a man with a bundle of straw.

The pig said, "Please sir, may I have that straw to build my house?"

The man gave him the straw the the first little pig set about making his house.

Not long after the house was complete, a wolf came along. He knocked at the little pig's door and said, "Little pig, little pig, let me come in."

The little pig answered, "Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!"

Then the wolf said, "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!"

So the wolf huffed and he puffed and he blew the house in! The first little pig ran to the second little pig's home and hid inside.

The second little pig soon met a man carrying a bundle of sticks.

The little pig said, "Please sir, may I have those sticks to build my house?"

The man gave him the sticks and the first little pig set about making his house.

The first and second little pigs ran to the third little pig's home and hid inside.

The third little pig stumbled across a man carrying a load of bricks.

The little pig said, "Please sir, may I have those bricks to build my house?"

The man gave him the bricks and the third little pig set about making his house.

So the wolf huffed and he puffed, he huffed and he puffed and he huffed and puffed but he could not blow this little pig's house down!

The wolf was unsccessful in blowing the third little pig's house down so he decided to try something new.

The wolf spotted a ladder nearby and quickly set it against the house and began to climb up.

If the wolf couldn't blow down the house, he was going to get in through the chimney!

The three little pigs knew exactly what the wolf was trying to do so they quickly made a fire. The little pigs put a pot of boiling water over the fire.

Just as the wolf was coming down the chimney, the little pig lifted the lid off the big pot of boiling water and in fell the wolf. The little pig quickly popped on the lid and all three little pigs had the wolf for supper!

The three little pigs lived happily ever after in the brick house.

The End!
