Me and my family are going on a road trip all around the country,and my first stop will be at my grandma's hoase in kansas
When we were arriving at my grandm's house it felt like it was getting kind of windy and it was dark outside,then as we were loading lugage in my moms car when my grandma spotted a tornado in the distance.
We all jumped in the celler. we were saved! then we came out a few hours later,and and the tornado was gone and we were ready to leave. we were on our way back home to pick up a few things.
We just arrived home .
When we whent inside the house i turned on the tv . the tv said that ther was a hurricane warning and to evacuate as soon as posible. my dad called me outside to board up the windows and we did. then we got our stuff and got out of town.
our next stop was in colorado. the winter had just ended and it felt chilli outside.
My dad told me that his cell phone said ther was a cold front comming through as we speak, so we all had to go to a store to buy some jackets.
Ther was onley one more stop on our journey, and it was to california.
when we were in california we got to see all the surfurs the cool beach and the giant hotels. when we got out of the car ther was a big diffrence in the climate change and in the tempeture,my dad looked at his phone again and read that ther had just bean a heat wave and to go grab your swim suits couse were going to the beach.
