The Three Little Pigs

Adapted by: Crystal Bromwell

Once there were three little pigs. Each pig wanted to build a house.

The first little pig built his house out of straw.

The second little pig built his house out of sticks.

The third little pig built his house out of bricks.

A wolf came along and he was hungry!

So the wolf went to the first little pigs house and knocked on the door. When the first little pig did not answer, the wolf huffed and he puffed and he blew the straw house down! The first little pig ran to the second little pigs house.

The wolf came to the second little pigs house and knocked on the door. When the little pigs did not answer, the wolf huffed and he puffed and he blew the stick house down. The two little pigs ran to the third pigs house.

The wolf came to the third bigs house. He knocked on the door, but nobody answered. So he huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed but could not blow the brick house down.

And the three little pigs lived hapily ever after.

Assignment:

In your journals, draw a picture of a house that you would build. Keep in mind the wolf, you do not want him to be able to blow your house down!
