Why do we eat vegetables?

Vegetables are an important part of the daily diet. They contain a lot of vitamins and minerals, which we all need to stay healthy. Vegetables help us stay protected from many sicknesses and diseases.



Carrots

Carrots are an example of a vegetable. By eating carrots, you can improve your eyesight and gain energy. There are many anti-oxidants present in these vegetables. Carrots make a delicious and healthy snack!



Green Beans

Green beans are another delicious type of vegetable. They are long and thin, sometimes called "pole beans." Green beans can actually come in yellow, they do not have to be green. These vegetables are a great source of Vitamin A and can be eaten raw!



Potatoes

Potatoes are a type of vegetable that grow in the ground. There are many differnent types of potatoes. Their skin can be brown, cream, or red colored. They are very rich in fiber and can strengthen the the body to pervent diseases.
