Wiki Use for the Tech Minded Teacher

A wiki is an online space that houses content and is easy to create and share ideas.  The difference between a wiki and a webpage is pretty straight forward.  Webpages are closed and can only be editied by the owner of the site.  A Wiki is open and anyone can add, edit, or create content.  Below is a link to video that talks about what wiki's are.

Wiki's can be an amazing asset for teachers.  They can use them to organize their lessons, open pages for online student engagement, and build a resource for future classes.

I've collected a few examples of educational use of Wiki's below:

How can we incorporate the concept of UDL?

Universal design for learning is comprised of 3 principles:

Principle I: Multiple Means of Representation, the 'what' of learning

Principle II: Multiple Means of Action and Expression, the 'how' of learning

Principle III:Multiple Means of Engagement, the 'why' of learning
