Here We Go!
By: Chana Feldman
It was a quiet Sunday afternoon and Esther and Shira had nothing to do. Then Esther had a great idea. "Go to park," Esther said. Esther put on her shoes. "Ready to go," Esther told Mommy.
Mommy buckled Esther and Shira into the stroller and gave them a cracker to eat on the way. While they were walking to the park, Esther pointed to everything that she saw. "Birdy, doggy, boy," she repeated over and over.
Esther loved the swings the best. Back and forth, she went. Faster and faster, she swung. "Weee, weee," Esther sang. Esther was learning how to pump the swing all by herself.
"It's time to go," Mommy said eventually . "More swing," said Esther. Shira wanted to go down the slide again. Shira and Esther were having too much fun. They didn't want to leave the park. "We have to go home now, but we can come back tommorow," Mommy explained .
When Mommy brought Esther and Shira home, they went straight into the bath. "Wow, you got dirty at the park!" exclaimed Mommy. Mommy scrubbed them with lots of soap and bubbles until they were all clean.
What a wonderful day!
