Your Words Hurt My Feelings

Tanya is a new girl at Huntington Elementary School, who has just moved all the way from Atlanta, Georgia to Long Island, New York.

Tanya is an outgoing kid.  She never has any problems making new friends whereever she goes.

There are a group of girls who are known to everyone in the school as "Mean Girls."

The "mean girls" were especially rude to Tanya because of her accent, the way her body was shaped, and the clothes she wore.

Tanya is feeling sad and confused as to why the mean girls are making fun of her and treating her like an animal.

Tanya tells her teacher how the "mean girls" have been bullying her.

Tanya's teacher notified the principal and the girls were suspended from school for one week.

Tanya was glad the "mean girls" got punished for what they said about her.
